Who will the person be that I book with?

John is the booking co-ordininator and manager of Backbeat. John is also a member of the band so you can rest assured he will be there on the day of your wedding also. 
It is very important to us to return emails and calls promptly.

Will the band I book be the band I get on the night?

Accepted Answer

Backbeat pride ourselves on offering you the best entertainment possible. This is only achievable with a band that has been together for a number of years.
You can rest assured that with Backbeat ,the band that arrive to your wedding are the band that you book on the night of the showcase. we are also a proud member of The Wedding Band Association.
Be aware of bands sending out multiple line ups to different weddings on the same night! That's right it happens. Always book a professional experienced band who play together regularly and be guaranteed a great night of dancing and fun.

Do you require a booking fee?

Yes, Backbeat Require a booking fee of €300
*No bookings can be confirmed unless booking fee is received along with our booking form.

*booking fee is transferable to a new date should you need to re arrange your event date subject to band availability.

Question 5

How long do you play for

Accepted Answer

Backbeat play for up to two and a half hours+ including a short interval while your afters food is served. 
Our Dj performs for up to two hours and kicks off straight after the band hit their last note, so no gaps in music from start to finish with backbeat.

Question 6

Do you play anywhere in Ireland?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely, Backbeat are happy to play anywhere in Ireland and are used to travelling the length and breadth of the country. Depending on distance a small travel fee may apply.

Will Backbeat learn our first dance?

Accepted Answer

*We highly recommend we play the first dance as the original on mp3. This ensures no difference between your first dance and the song you have rehearsed to, It also ensures perfect quality for your video.                                                                             
    **MIN 8 WEEKS NOTICE OF YOUR FIRST DANCE REQUIRED IF BAND PERFORMING SONG LIVE.
This gives us the time we need to get your song together if we have not performed it previously.
As a very busy wedding band our time is in high demand.

Question 8

When is the balance due to be paid?

The balance of our fee for any package of your choosing will be due either before the band start or during our arrival/setup.

Question 9

Can Backbeat provide drinks reception, Ceremony music and Dj for afters?

Accepted Answer

Yes backbeat can supply a Contemporary instrumental music either Pianist or Acoustic Guitar performance for your Drinks/Ćanape Reception. 
We can also help with ceremony music if needed.

Yes we can provide an experienced professional DJ until the late hours after the band.
